It's one of the most horrific dreams you'd ever have had. You're just back from the long needed vacation and what you see on the mirror horrifies you. You had planned on getting a tan, but the extra bit of flab, had you bargained for the same? It is but obvious that you were not careful while on vacation and had left caution to the winds and this is the end result. Well, no need to worry because this was just a dream. Here are some simple tips which will help you to stay fit while traveling.

It is a well-known fact that most women tend to gain fat while they are on vacations. Getting a tan is ok, but the extra bit of flab that one gains in these few days takes months to remove. First and foremost try to maintain a fixed routine of dietary habits. Do enjoy the food, but do not overdo the same. If you spend 30 minutes for exercising at home, try to devote at least 10 minutes while traveling.

Most people forget these basics while they are touring and end up gaining the extra pounds. There are some who resort to special medicines to stay trim while on tour. These medicines do more harm than good. Why not enjoy a light diet of vegetables and juice? Hunt around for local delicacies that are free of fatty content. Do not order these things from the confines of your hotel room. Just walking over to the market is an exercise in itself which will help you to stay fit.

The most important tip: Just chill out and forget the tensions associated with your day-to-day life. You are out to relax so just relax. When you return home, you will be amazed to see how these little things, often overlooked, helps one stay fit.
